Come take a look at Bungendore Vet
We are a modern practice with country values, ensuring you have access to state-of-the-art facilities, without compromising on that feeling of being somewhere where they really get to know you and your pet.
We hold regular weekly puppy classes run by Kay Dodds, one of our very experienced and dedicated nurses. Kay is a Certificate IV qualified nurse who has a special interest in animal behaviour.
Puppy classes provide important socialisation opportunities for new pups as well as covering behavioural, nutritional and grooming topics. We run a foundation program to help give owners the keys to establish a successful training program. We notice a huge difference in pups who have taken part in our puppy school programme when they return later for de-sexing or vaccinations – they are actually pleased to be coming to the vet, which reduces stress for everyone! Each programme runs for a period of six weeks on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. You can teach a dog to sit at any age, but there is a critical socialisation window between eight and sixteen weeks, which is where our puppy school can help! Age limits do apply and all pups must have their first vaccination before attending. Classes are very popular and pre-booking is essential. Please contact us for enquiries or bookings.
